OK, I am still having problems getting AccurateRip configured on my new computer.

I finally borrowed 10 CDs from a friend, and 3 of them turned out to be key discs.

So, AR did a series of offset measurements on them.

Attached to this post are 3 word docs that contains screenshots of all the dialogs that came up; please read these (sorry about using 3 files, but I had no choice due to the annoying 50 KB individual file size limit).

If I understand what the program is telling me, it look like each time that AR measured offset of a key disc, it got a different result (+1485, then +343, then 0). And all 3 results are different from the value stored in AR's database for my drive (+667). Since none of the offset measurements are consistent, my drive remains unconfigured for AR.

Is the above the correct interpretation?

Does it mean that my drive is crappy for ripping? It is a

Any hope or do I need to buy a PLextor?
