I finally found this function, but it is disabled by default (no matter there is an audio CD inserted or not).
First, insert an audio CD (otherwise cannot use the function). Then in the menu, choose "Action" -> "Detect Gaps" (or simply press F4), and the last 3 items in the Action menu will become enabled:
- Leave Out Gaps
- Append Gaps to Previous Track (default)
- Append Gaps to Next Track
The option "Leave Out Gaps" is actually what I want. Thanks EAC!
P.S. There is a small bug in this function, in which if I choose "Create CUE Sheet" -> (any sub item in this group) before "Detect Gaps", the "Detect Pre-gap" dialog will also show up. However, after the process, the last 3 items (Leave Out Gaps, ...) are still disabled. Only run the "Detect Gaps" function will enable them. Also, each time I eject the disc and insert another one, the 3 items are disabled again (and I have to run the "Detect Gaps" again to enable them). I like to know if EAC can "memorize" the gaps in the CDs (just like the CRC after ripping).

I think I did not speak clearly. What I want is to add a menu item in EAC to show the ripping log in a small window, or just a menu item to open the Windows Explorer in which the log file is located (probably with the ripped audio files as well).

Yes, I agree. It makes more flexibility to ripping tracks in EAC. Is it possible for this function to have selection of frames (milliseconds)?
