I have tried a bunch of settings to get winXPpro to open eac, when audio-cd i inserted in specific drive - but no luck. I only get the standard "what do you want windows to do?" screen. I thought there was an open setting for that screen... hehe
Exactly where in the registry do you edit, and what does it say?
