I have DX 8.0a and in order to play some newer games i need DX 8,1.I know that sucks but i gave good money for that games and i want to play them!
After the DX installation starts the procedure stops responding without any apparent reason.I must say that i have closed all running applications and the antivirus programm but the installation bar still stops responding in the MIDDLE of the procedure.What must i do,please tell me if you know.I have a Prolink Geforce 2 card with 21.11 nvidia drives installed that works fine.
