End of status report

Tracks 1, 2, 17 and 24 are actualy in the database, inaccurately ripped though.
The rest of the tracks are apparently not in the database.
T&C CRC's match. The disc itself is 100% scratch free.

Your CD disc is possibly a different pressing to the one(s) stored in AccurateRip.

My questions:

1) What could be the reason that AR recognizes tracks 1, 2, 17 and 24, while the rest is not known?

2) Why are the AR hashes of unknown tracks (to the database) not mentioned in the new 0.99pb1?

1) AccurateRip works track based, not CD based. So it can happen that AccurateRip knows some tracks, but others not from the same CD. Moreover, I even think that these tracks are "known" from another CD, as no track from your CD match the database...

2) Because it is not interesting at all, if the track is not available in the database... Greynol, what do you think?

It's probably just a different pressing that is incomplete in the database, though it is possible that it's the same pressing and the entries in the database were ripped incorrectly. Because the entries have a confidence of only one it's difficult to tell if they represent a correct rip. This is impossible in fact, unless it's also a key disc; which I find doubtful.

I agree with Andre, AR hashes that can't be compared to anything aren't very interesting.

Maybe the disc can be ripped again in 6 months or a year and there will be different results. Hopefully it won't just be against his previous submission.
