Try starting 440 blocks in and ripping until the end of the track.

Other than trying to get EAC to synchronize in different places by telling to to begin ripping at different places, I don't have any other suggestions.

Ripping block 19867 to end of track it re-read.
Ripping 19868 to end did re-read.
Ripping range 19867-20000 c2 and non c2 ripps matched.
Ripping range 19867-21000 c2 and non c2 did not match.

This is from memory but I can rerip ranges to get logs if you want.

    I'm curious...

Have you tried the -usefua switch instead of cache flushing with your Plextor drives while also using C2 pointers?

No I have not tried that. Will do some tests with -usefua later.

With c2 and -usefua I get a good crc.

edit some more test without -usefua.

using c2 and not defeat cache gives the good crc and c2 and defeat cache doesn't

    ...the plot thickens.

As a user and advocate of (properly working) FUA, I rest a bit easier, though I suppose F7043E6D may not be the right CRC either.

Please send me a PM. I'd like to do a little more work to improve the odds on F7043E6D being the correct CRC.

    Thanks for posting more results!

It's not FUA that make a difference but if I use Defeat Cache or not. Both rips in the second log is without FUA.

Right, I understand. It's that using FUA allows one to rip without cache flushing.
