Using EAC with Multple Users
I'm Using EAC on a couple of networked Machines, As an administrator I setup the program as needed for all users including the location of a locally based FreeCDDB database, all seems well.
Each user has thier own user name and Logs on to the machine, when they start EAC, they are promted with the setup Wizard window, if they cancel all the settings are kept as they were; if they don't all the settings get reset to the defaults for that user and the database access is lost.
Is there a way to prevent the setup wizard from starting with every new user, as administrator I would like all users to use the same settings. This happens with Windows 98 and 2000.
I've tried using profiles, but EAC defaults to "no profile" with every user. Iv'e not played with the registry yet, but can't see a key that would do the job anyway.
Any suggestions?

The earlier versions used HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, the newer all will use HKEY_CURRENT_USER... This have several advantages, no user can do wrong settings that effect another user...
See the What's New page when this change took effect...

Thankyou Andre
Sorry I'm still Unregistered, but will register soon.
I am very happy with EAC as a whole, the interface is very simple to use and informative. The problem is the people that will use the software on my network of computers; they have very little knowledge of computers, they can use the software but don't know what the settings are all about, they just want to use the software and go.
So by forcing each user to configure the software when they have no idea what the settings should be, can be very confusing.
The next problem is the network, it blocks all access to Freedb servers so the default settings cannot show track titles.
This is why each version of EAC is configured to use a Local FreeDB database on an NT server folder share. This info is lost when the new user clicks on [next] in the setup wizard.
SO, Is there a way of preventing the Setup Wizard from starting on every new user, causing the software not to work as intended for that user, OR can the default setup be changed by the administrator to a specific configuration so all new users use the same settings untill they change them?
Thanks for any suggestions

Why not creating a registry snapshot of the EAC Options (HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/AWSoftware)
and set a link on the desktop "Install EAC (default settings)"...
So every user can easily install the standard configuration, and if he had done wrong, he can easily set it back to what it was...
