    Problems with remote FreeDB

    Hi,

    I have EAC v0.9 b3. When I try to access the remote FreeDB for the track names, I get a garbled error message. When I go to the FreeDB options and press the button to update the servers I get a message that says HTTP Protocol Error.

    Finally I've changed the servers manually, according to the FreeDB website, to no avail.

    Any ideas how to fix this?

    Do you have a firewall or something? A known bug causes machines running Norton's Internet Security (w. a software firewall) to crash when doing FreeDB.
