Thread: R.i.p. E.a.c.

I recently upgraded from XP to Windows 7. I've tried everything to get E.A.C. to function as it has for the last year or so: perfectly.

It's crap! I can't burn a disc, whatever I do.

Even the 'Erase disc' feature doesn't work any more. Whilst burning, I'm told that 'Writing lead-in' is happening throughout the whole burn. Then, even though I have checked 'eject CD after burning', the program just keeps on going, way past the 00.00 of 'Estimated time left'.

I was mega-happy with Exact Audio Copy; however, I've just downloaded 'Ashampoo 10 Suite', which works perfectly (though, natuurlijk, not as perfectly as E.A.C. used to on XP...), because I can't get E.A.C. to work.

Any and all advice gratefully accepted.
